Zoë is bold, confident, out-there-in-your-face and one of the most loyal dogs I've ever had the pleasure to share my life with.   She proved to be a very willing worker and earner her Novice Obedience Title with very little trouble even tho she is severely hearing impaired. She is a very clever dog who worked out, early in life, to get by on hand signals and facial expression.  Zoë is also the kind of dog that has a lot to offer as a 'therapy/companion dog' and as such has found a full time job 'caring' for David who desperately needed a companion to fill the empty spaces in his life.  For now, Zoë lives full time with David, having  pretty much taken over his house and his life.  They enjoy early morning beach walks and a swim, rides in David's car and sharing dinner's together :-).  David and Zoë often  visit us at Fauvetnoir and she is still owned by me.

Sadly Zoë developed regular Grand Mal Epileptic seizures at 4 years of age. The seizures are proving to be very difficult to control and have taught me a lot about the tragedy of canine epilepsy  and the wonderful people who care for these dogs.
