"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his Life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."-Anonymous-

A highly trainable dog with outstanding competitive drive, the Belgian Shepherd presents an excellent choice for trainers and handlers looking for a versatile dog.  Their loyalty and willingness to please makes them a great companion.

Fauvetnoir continues to work together and in co-operation with other Breeders of Belgian Shepherds aiming to contribute to the improvement of the Breed in Australia

A very special litter indeed! Comes is a Multiple Champion, PE-SR selected and enjoying obedience in his spare time :-). He is a beautiful, elegant boy who has proven himself to be a sire of quality pups.  Kitty is exuberant, outgoing with a great deal of 'drive'. She loves everybody she meets and knows no enemies.

At Fauvetnoir, our main aim is to breed quality pups with sound temperaments and we feel that this combination will certainly meet that aim.

We invite expressions of interest for pups from this litter - early bookings recommended.

We plan to repeat our 'E' Litter (probably 2011) which produced strong, healthy pups with outstanding, stable and friendly  temperaments as well as lovely construction.  A lovely litter well worth repeating.

Fauvetnoir Breed Philosophy:

Breeding is our hobby, not a business that needs to generate a profit . We are under no obligation to breed and  have never and will not in future breed for 'a market'. We will occasionally breed a litter if there is a particular combination that we feel has potential to add to the available gene pool in Australia and we want something from that combination ourselves. Homes for puppies that are sold are carefully selected to ensure a Belgian Shepherds is the right dog for the right home.  We do encourage pre-registration for upcoming litters.

Fauvetnoir has in the past and will in the future continue to work together and in co-operation with other Breeders of Belgian Shepherds aiming to contribute to the improvement of the Breed in Australia.

At Fauvetnoir we aim to enjoy our dogs at home (our dogs live in our house with us - we do not have kennels) as well as competing with them in the Show and Agility ring but never loosing sight of what it is that we set out to do:

Breeding a Belgian Shepherd, true to type, of good health and sound temperament.

At Fauvetnoir, Health and Temperament does matter and 'true to type' is always  strived for.

We feel that Breeding a Show Winning Dog is a bonus and a pleasant surprise but that it is of no value if the dog is either of poor health or has a weak temperament. Keeping this in mind, we  carefully select our (health tested) breed combinations aiming to produce a healthy dog with a stable, friendly temperament of sound structure and type, in accordance with the Breed Standard as set for the Belgian Shepherd Tervueren.

Parents are hip, elbow and eye tested.  Puppies are raised in the house amongst people, other dogs, children and our resident cat "Biggles".  At Fauvetnoir Belgian Shepherds, socialisation of puppies is considered to be paramount to the development of healthy, well adjusted pups.  All puppies are registered with the Canine Association of WA, vaccinated, wormed and treated with Revolution (heartworm/flea prevention).

Fauvetnoir extends lifetime support, advise and help to each puppy bred under it's prefix.

We have experience  freighting dogs both Interstate and International
