 ANKC National Agility Trial 2010 -  Some Facts and Figures

• 3 Heats were run over 3 days - A Qualifying score and placing was required in a Heat to progress to a Final to be held on Sunday the 2nd of May. The Finals were run in Height Groups.
• Each heat provided up to 1 dog in the 200 height group, up to 2 each from the 300, 400 & 600 groups and up to 5 dogs from the 500 height group.

• just over 3000 runs were judged
• From the 5 Belgian Shepherds entered, 3 made the Finals: Quisha and Kizzy missed out on a Finals spot by one placing each only.

• To my knowledge, this is the first time that a Belgian Shepherd has qualified for a Final at the Australian Agility Nationals

Therese Hay returned home to NSW with 10 Qualifying Cards between her 2 dogs - 5 Agility and 5 Jumping qualifyers. Cash earned his JD title at 20 months old (only competed for 2 months ! ! ) This is an outstanding result and contributed hugely to the overall success of the Belgian Shepherds that competed at this year's National Agility Trial

Kizzy earned a Qualifyer with Nic Ford handling in Novice Jumping which is a huge achievement for a  very novice dog that has been trained for a limited time only .  Kizzy did an outstanding job and both Cindy and Nic are very proud of her.
