Aldo is my 'special boy' and my constant companion. His temperament is simply superb. He is a calm, confident, friendly dog who is not aggressive but will stand his ground if asked. He approaches strangers with friendliness, never timid, never backing off. Aldo is not just a pretty face and has proven to be a lovely, biddable worker, eager to work when asked, ready to 'switch off' when required. He did some herding which he LOVED and where he showed great drive and work ethic easily earning his Herding Certificate and Herding Test. However it is agility that he truly lives for. After a few false starts Aldo is now in full training and trialing under ANKC as well as ADAA rules. Aldo_won_the_ANKC_Australian Nationals 2010 Novice Jumping (600) Finals - the first Belgian Shepherd to win an ANKC National Agility Final ! !
